3 Receiving Diplomas Each row will be dismissed to line up to receive diplomas. We will start with the right side (Lines A & B) and then move to the left side (Lines C & D). You will exit the floor through the back right tunnel (A & B side) and re-enter through the front right tunnel. It is important that you stay in number order.

4 Receiving Diplomas You will have your formal picture taken before / after crossing the stage – Make sure your tassel is on the RIGHT! Hand your card to the reader or reader’s assistant Climb the stairs & cross the stage Your name will be read as you cross the stage, so please do not wait to hear your name before climbing the stairs! Please be careful so you don’t trip Don’t attempt to do anything foolish; use a proper handshake Return to your seat

6 After Diplomas Once everyone has crossed the stage, one of the dignitaries will say that you are officially graduated. Choir will sing Alma Mater Cannons will shoot streamers (it’s loud) ☺ You can toss your cap (don’t poke your eye out) Your Senior Class Song will play & we will FORMALLY RECESS!

7 Formal Recession The dignitaries on stage will exit first.
Both sides will exit together, but one row at a time starting from the front. PLEASE WAIT TO BE DISMISSED! You will exit the arena near the corner of Church St. & Division. Please have a plan as to where you will meet your family – it will be very crowded!

10 Parents & Guests Enter at the front of the arena.
Doors will open at 1pm.

11 Parents & Guest Entrance
Stairs & escalators to the right & left. Elevator on left.

12 Rules & Regulations – DO NOT BRING:
Seniors & guests will be searched upon entering the arena. No decorated caps! Even if the college you are attending provided it! You will have to purchase a new one No beach balls, noisemakers, or any other items that may cause a distraction or disturbance No gum

13 Rules & Regulations – DO NOT BRING:
Bag Restrictions - there are restrictions on bag size for guests No backpacks Maximum bag size is 14x6x14 Link for more info:

14 Cell Phone Disclaimer Do not use your cell phone during the ceremony!
They should be off & not visible Violations may result in the graduate’s removal from the ceremony. No Airpods / earbuds / headphones

15 Behavior Disclaimer Graduation is a dignified ceremony
It is expected that all of our graduates (and their guests) behave properly. If a graduate’s or guest’s behavior becomes inappropriate, they will be removed from the ceremony.

16 Dress Code Ladies: Men: dress pants & blouse blouse & skirt or dress
dress shoes or dress sandals Do Not bring a purse, there is no place to store it Men: collared shirt, tie, dark dress pants, dress shoes No flip-flops or tennis shoes. Choose your shoes wisely, you will be standing a lot and need to be comfortable. All clothing, hair styles, & make up should be appropriate so as not to cause a distraction or disruption.

17 Diplomas & Transcripts
You do not actually get your diploma at graduation, just the cover. You can pick up your diploma from the guidance office on Thursday, June 13th. You can begin ordering official transcripts through School Pay on June 1st. An official paper copy of your transcripts will be included with your diploma.
