1 Performing Arts Careers
Singer By Lucy-Jane

2 Believe in yourself If you don’t believe in yourself then no one else is going to either. You have to know your ability and what you are capable of doing

3 Education If you have education in performing arts, then it will help you in the business. The subject teaches you the skills and management that you would need as a singer, dancer or an actor. Make sure you try to pass your GCSE and A levels to help this.

4 Brit school? Yes it is true that if you go to Brit school then you will be trained into being a professional, however that isn’t the only option you have. There are singers such as Ed Sheeran who didn’t go to the Brit school, and are still at the top of the charts.

5 Get an agent Record yourself singing at high quality and send it off to as many good agents as you can. Hopefully some will get back to you and then you can choose the agent you would like. If you have an agent, then your agent could start to find you gigs and things like that.

6 Patience and resilience
Remember to be patient and not give up, even if you get denied a few times. The Beatles were turned down 14 times because people didn’t like the sound of their music, and they became the biggest band ever. DON’T GIVE UP AFTER FAILURE It’s okay if you cry a little but it builds you up, makes you more determined and stronger.

7 Keep trying The more you try the more likely it is to happen So don’t give up Keep trying You’ll get what you deserve.
