L.E.Q. How do you find the lengths of segments?

It is asking/telling you what the length of the segment with endpoints A and B is.

They would have to have the same number of tic marks on them.
There would have to be proof that their lengths are equal in measure.

6. Postulate 1-6, The Segment Addition Postulate.
If 3 points A, B, and C are collinear and B is between A and C, then AB + BC = AC.

7. EXAMPLE: Using the segment addition postulate.
If AB = 25, find the value of x. Then find AN and NB.

8. What is a midpoint?
A point on a segment that is the same distance from both endpoints.
The midpoint bisects the segment.

9. EXAMPLE: Using midpoint to find lengths.
M is the midpoint of RT. Find RM, MT, and RT.
