3. HHSC / CMS Review Period for Region 15
We received high level feedback on 4 projects for Region 15 on 2/14/13
Minor changes, typos, transposition of numbers…
None of the comments will prevent the Plan from moving on to CMS
Corrections will be entered into the Plan in anticipation of CMS feedback
We expect to hear from HHSC by 2/25/13
HHSC will inform the Anchor when the Plan is submitted to CMS
Or will provide additional feedback if the RHP has not adequately addressed HHSC’s feedback
CMS will have a 45 day review period and will communicate to the regions during this time frame

4. Other Review items
CMS requested a modification to Category 3 achievement targets
Current intent is to approve all parts of the Plan with the exception of Category 3 payment in DY4 and DY5
Category 3 outcome is the focus right now; not the metrics
CMS is looking at ‘other’ projects to ensure evidence-based material is included. HHSC will make notations on projects to show the evidence-based justification for CMS
HHSC will flag higher value projects when sending to CMS
