2 HISTORY Officially began in Spearheaded by Bob Grauberger, a lead lineman at F&M An idea to have a fund created where employees across the company could pool their money to help other employees in need. Original seed money was $1,800 provided by the company in As of 3/31/2019 the REACH board has approved 8 (eight) matching grants and 1 (one) direct grant (see chart below for the complete history). Since our inception we have issued a total of 306 matching and direct grants.

3 OVERVIEW Fund Balance as of 3/31/2019 is $1,166,746
 2008 – 2014 – Total of 117 grants issued (Average of 17 per year) 2015 – 2019– Total of 185 grants issued (**Average of 44 per year) This demonstrates the need for your continued support of REACH. As of 3/31/2019 we have issued grants totaling $24,279 for the year. Since our inception we have granted $670,828.

4 OVERVIEW We hope to inspire those not contributing to become a participant (no amount is too small – must be at least $1/month), to keep up with continued growth of grants by our Evergy family August is the official fund raising month for REACH and the board and other volunteers will give over 100 presentations at different locations across our company Ways that you can help: Become a REACH Donor (we will show you how) Help co-workers by submitting request for matching grants Help co-workers by assisting with request for direct grants Volunteer time at REACH events or participate in our fund raising events
