Fear—Hebrew word is “yah-RAH”
“to frighten, to dread, to be made afraid”

“Do not fear, for I am with you”—Isaiah 41:10
“Perfect love drives out fear”—1 John 4:18

10. Fear of the LORD
The same Hebrew and Greek words are used to describe the wholesome “fear of the LORD” and the destructive fear of the devil.
