2 PSALM 62:1-2 “MY SOUL FINDS REST IN GOD ALONE; MY SALVATION COMES FROM HIM.” “HE ALONE IS MY ROCK AND MY SALVATION; HE IS MY FORTRESS, I WILL NEVER BE SHAKEN.”

6 GOD IS MY DEFENSE “Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.” Psalm 27:14 “Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31

Can you really rest in God when things go wrong? “Find rest, O my soul , in God alone. My hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.” Psalm 62:5-6

Does it really make sense to trust in God when things go wrong? Whom can I really depend on? Highborn or lowborn? Extortion or theft?

“Though riches increase do not set your heart on them.” Ps. 62:10

11 The LOGIC 1st--God is strong (11) 2nd--God is loving (12a)
Therefore ---we can be assured that there will be justice—(12b)
