Guideline to the Transport Service Booklet Morning Pick up/ Afternoon departure & drop-off Food & Drink on the buses Behaviour ECAs BTS Shuttle Bus Service – Year 10 + Communication Parking Show of hands who will use the transport service. Transport over 1200 students to & from school each day. Using over 180 mini buses daily. Max 8 students per bus. Parents can ride with students - if available seats. Contact transport. Am pick up – 3 min window/ Afternoon departure – students make own way to the buses. Food & drink – prefer no food, owner driver buses, water only (also provided), no gum, no nuts, messy foods, etc. Must leave bus as they found it. Cannot delay bus by going to the snack bar. Behaviour – school standards. Reporting procedures – Snr mgt deal with. Parents should also report in any behaviour concerns asap. Eca’s – once ECAs are confirmed transport automatically adjusted to the new ECA time home. Only students in Yrs 12 & 13 can make changes to their bus. BTS shuttle bus service. Communication – VERY important. Inform transport – biggest cause of delays due to waiting for students. Parking – across the road. BPS stickers are available. Use foot bridge. Drop off & collection is at the front of school.

Patana Card Secondary Canteen Snack Bar, Smoothie & Noodle Bar Catering Lunch – can bring own or if signed up to set lunch programme lunch will be provided daily. Broad Range of food on offer. Allergies & Dietary restrictions requests can be accommodated – please update this information via the parents gateway. Can join students for lunch. Staggered times students can enter canteen. Menu available online each week. Snack bar – available break, lunch & after school. Can be provided for meetings or other functions. Must book in advance.

Security Patana cards Valuables Lost Property
ID cards – take a couple of days. Maids, drivers, nannies – are available but please inform reception if they are no longer your employee so that the card can be cancelled. Replacement cards 350 thb. No ID card – must sign in at the front of school. Set lunch – paid termly. Can use canteen or noodles – not both. No child should go without lunch. Reception/ sec office Valuables – should not be at school Lost property – name all items. They will be returned if they are named to the class.

Health & Safety, Medical Service, School Shop & Communication
Health & Safety / Emergency Procedures Medical Service - Update medical details via parents gateway. School Shop – open 7.30 – 4.00pm during term time. Insurance Communication Up coming event: Patana Fun Run – Sunday 27th September Health & Safety – pride ourselves on providing a safe environment for the Bangkok Patana Community. Please report any concerns. Medical service – 2 First Aid rooms – speak to Head Nurse if you have any concerns. Keep information updated via parents gateway. School shop – school uniform & a post office (not for the first few weeks of school) Communication – key to the smooth running of all services. Please feedback issues/concerns, keep information up to date, communicate changes in advance, ASK if unsure. I will be around at the end to answer any questions.

What does the PTG do? Assists with communication between parents, teachers and School management Assists the School to make new parents feel at home and at ease within the “Patana family” Suggests positive improvements where appropriate Assists the School in community-based activities Promotes “Tiger Spirit” Runs the Tiger Shop Assists the School financially to purchase resources that enhance teaching methods (i.e. items not budgeted for)

Get Involved in the PTG All Patana parents are members of the PTG (parents can request to attend bi-monthly meetings with advance notice due to space limitations).
