There are tons of ways to use technology. How can you have fun, but also make sure you’re staying out of trouble?

Okay, so before I share something, I should think about whether I would mind someone sharing the same information about me. I've posted some pretty bad pics of my little sister when she's annoying me. Maybe that wasn't so nice. I would be totally embarrassed if she posted that pic of me from first grade.

Allow students to share examples of when they have made mistakes by not using this question as a guide. I always need to consider how a person could react to something I post. Will they find it funny as well? Or will it hurt them? Or make them angry? This question would have helped me avoid the bad situation I'm in right now.

3) Would I do or say this in-person, or if my family were watching? Discussion tips: Have students share how this question impacts being a good digital citizen. Allow students to share examples of when they have made mistakes by not using this question as a guide. I would never have done that impersonation of my teacher in front of her, or even my grandmother. I would have been too embarrassed.

Allow students to share examples of when they have made mistakes by not using this question as a guide. I've posted things out of anger and ended up regretting it later. Maybe I should calm down and give myself a chance to think before posting things in the future?

Allow students to share examples of when they have made mistakes by not using this question as a guide. Luckily my video did not break any laws, but my teacher isn't too happy about it. My school has policies about respecting our peers and teachers. I may have some punishment coming from both the school and my parents.

Allow students to share examples of when they have made mistakes by not using this question as a guide. I like people to think I'm funny, but maybe not by making fun of others. Next time, I'll think of the image I'm creating for myself. I don't want to be seen as mean.
