3 INTRODUCTION XML encryption is W3C standard for encrypting XML and was developed to protect XML data. XML Encryption is a requirement to secure specific information and to allow authorized persons access to specific information and prevent access to that specific information from unauthorized entities..

4 MAIN GOAL XML encryption can be implemented in a reliable way.
It shall be easy to write programs, which process XML documents. XML documents shall be easy to create. It is possible to encrypt one element, several elements, or a complete document

5 WHAT IS XML ENCRYPTION XML Encryption provides end-to-end security for applications that require secure exchange of structured data Sending documents over a network, storage in a database and exchange between applications in encrypted form can be useful as part of other security measures.

6 CONCLUSION XML encryption has a wide variety of uses and applications.
The first thing to remember about XML encryption is that it provides high level of security to XML elements. This is only a limited test but in so far no any incomplete features were found..
