1. Slicing psd

2. Open psd and select the slice tool

3. Draw slice over solid/fixed graphic.
must make sure that the slice has been done correctly else it will not cut the image correctly
May need to zoom in

4. all slices are in blue, all none slices are in grey

5. Example finished psd

6. Give each slice a name. select slice tool and ctrl + double click each slice and give it a suitable name

7. Saving the images
click each slice to decide what format you want i.e. jpeg, png
RULE OF THUMB –
Any images which are photos leave them as jpg
Any images which are non-photos save them as png24. ensure transparency is ticked

8. Click save button. Ensure you have these settings

9. End result
