I have a 2.2 gpa and am interested in college. I have to work on weekends at BoJangles to pay for my cell phone and car. I live with my mom who did not go to college. I haven't been on a college campus before, but I have always dreamed about going to UNC Greensboro. I applied but did not get in to UNCG. I did get into Chowan but heard it was private. I am worried about how I can make college happen for me. Where should I start, and what websites or people can help me? Whats the difference between a private and public education? What about Durham Tech? Group Jones: I am in the 12th grade at Southern High School. I have a 3.6 gpa and am interested in college. I have to work on weekends at BoJangles to pay for my cell phone and car. I live with my mom who did not go to college. I haven't been on a college campus before, but I have always dreamed about going to UNC Chapel Hill. I just got accepted to ECU and am waiting to hear from Chapel Hill. I am worried about how I can make college happen for me. Where should I start, and what websites or people can help me? How can I find out what life will look like at ECU versus Chapel Hill? What if I forgot to do my FAFSA?
