For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and

11. become one with him. I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For God’s way of making us right with himself depends on faith. Philippians 3:7-9

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. There is no law against these things. Galatians 5:22-23
