3 Dark energy models • Only classify models with exotic energy or a vacuum contribution • Modifications to FRW equation not considered eg. Cardassian models not included

4 Thawing models: • models with axions, pseudo Nambu-Goldstone bosons,
moduli, dilatons

5 Cooling models: • w decreases from w > -1
• tracker models, dynamical SVSY breaking, supergravity

6 Barotropic fluids: • Freezing models and barotropic fluids do not overlap

7 Phantom models: • w < -1
• Prototype has ghost with negative kinetic term
