Rod and Rick are pleased to provide this overview of how COTA can help your patients and families.

Our Mission The Children’s Organ Transplant Association helps children and young adults who need a life-saving transplant by providing fundraising assistance and family support.

COTA is a 501(c)3 charity, and all gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Supporting Transplant Families
Working with transplant-needy children and young adults, we know how to fundraise for transplants in honor of thousands of patients.

COTA can also help patients with Cystic Fibrosis, Polycystic Kidney Disease and Sickle Cell patients of all ages.

Patients may begin working with COTA before they are formally placed on a transplant list – in fact this is recommended as we can pay for pre-transplant costs.

100% Patient Benefit COTA funds are available for lifetime transplant expenses.

The Trusted Leader Supporting Transplant Patients
No fees charged for patient services, and over $100 million has been raised to assist families.

Meeting Patient Expenses
We assist families at any stage of the transplant process, but those we can help the most are pre-transplant patients.

COTA can also help cover non-medical transplant-related expenses.

Since 2015, COTA patients benefitted from more than $7 million of online support allowing communities to turn their social network into life-saving dollars!

Website Resources COTA enables transplant families to complete our Patient Agreement online.
