Andrew Whyte Service Award
The Andrew Whyte Service Award was established to honor a very special man. During his Jaguar career, Andrew unstintingly gave his time and talent to support the Jaguar enthusiast movement around the world. He always had time to talk to people, write letters and participate! Commitment to the marque and the people who love Jaguar is the primary basis for the Andrew Whyte Service Award. This is JCNA’s most prestigious recognition for an individual club member. It is given for local service, North American service or contributions in both areas. 2019 AGM Award Show

Fred Horner Sportsmanship Award
Fred’s oft-stated plan for starting the JCNA Concours Program was to give Clubs and families a nice day out. Competition was secondary to the goal of getting people with Jaguars together in good fellowship. His focus for JCNA was not in competition, but participation. He promoted Concours and other Club events as family outings – a time to relax and enjoy Jaguar cars and fellow members. The Fred Horner Sportsmanship Award is based upon participation in sanctioned JCNA vehicle events, regardless of how many of each event, the score obtained or the Jaguar entered. This included Concours, Slalom and Rally. The Fred Horner Sportsmanship Award recognizes JCNA members who are out and about with their Jaguars, sharing fellowship with other JCNA members. It promotes more participation, expands local activities, gets more Jaguars out in front of the public and promotes additional membership. 2019 AGM Award Show

Dealer of the Year The Jaguar Dealer of the Year Award was created to honor a special Jaguar dealer. It should not be treated as a competitive trophy and dealers should not expect to "win" this award. The award is not solely based on the amount of money the dealer donates to its local Club, but on how active the dealer is with its local Club and how the dealer has made a difference to its local Club. 2019 AGM Award Show

Karen Miller Award – Editor of the Year
This award is presented annually to the JCNA affiliate newsletter editor who best represents Karen Miller’s talents and ideals as a writer, editor, historian and ultimate Jaguar club volunteer. The recipient will qualify by producing, in one year at least four newsletters to the highest standards of editorial content and production. Why is this award important? Because a good newsletter is the lifeline for every local club. It contains news, the calendar of area events, technical advice and features of local interest. The editor who puts out a timely, well-produced publication packed with information is directly contributing to keeping the organization healthy and active. 2019 AGM Award Show

Top Web Site Award A Club Newsletter and Web Site can make or break a Club. Today web sites are so artistic while still chock full of information about who the club is, what they do, how they do it, with added resources thrown in to boot, while being presented to someone in a tech savy world who has a tablet in one hand, smart phone in the other hand and a phone bud in their ear. It is a tough balance to get the right combination of art and info in a pleasing manner to satisfy everyone. 2019 AGM Award Show

Dick Cavicke’s statement of appreciation.
Thank you very much for this recognition which I humbly accept on behalf of myself, and the Judge’s Concours Rules Committee, which I have been privileged to chair for the past 17 years. I’m certain most of you know the original Rules Committee members: George Camp, South Carolina, Stew Cleave, Oregon, Rufus Coburn, Austin, Hal Kritzman, Southern New England, Bob Stevenson, Michigan. In recent years, George Camp and Stew Cleave were replaced by Mike Mueller of Austin and Terry Sturgeon of Victoria. Our indispensable wingman has been Steve Kennedy, of Colorado, the Rule Book Editor. The JCNA Regional and North American Concours Awards rely on equivalent club class scoring. JCRC has dedicated itself to validating that program by standardizing concours judging, by making the rules as complete, up-to-date, and as clear as possible, and by requiring all Judges to be certified as current in their knowledge and application of those rules. With the consistent positive backing of the JCNA Presidents and the Board of Directors, JCRC has made significant progress toward meeting those goals. I sincerely appreciate your enduring support for both the Rules Committee and for my service as the JCNA Chief Judge. I’m just retiring, ….not going away. Regards, Dick Cavicke 2019 AGM Award Show
