6 Page 6WWRF#20 · Klaus Moessner · k.moessner@surrey.ac.uk · 22.04.2008 · Sig1 Panel · WWRF - Ottawa CR Making Sense on the slope of enlightenment CRs are only as good as the information they use for their decision making -definition of information scope -loads of sensing technologies but no quality indicators -interoperability between (spectrum sensors) Making Sense: -Secondary spectrum usage will come (already reality – 5GHz band) -Regulation will allow more dynamic allocation regimes -Reconfigurable radios will operate in different frequency ranges/bands and would have to apply different sensing architectures (band and space dependent sensing)
