9 SHSP Scoring Criteria Projects will be scored on the following criteria Regional in Scope: Benefits region as a whole vs. few or one jurisdiction Ongoing Sustainment: One-time or sustained by sub grantee vs. continued SHSP funding Capability Gap: Need identified in exercise or real world event Reasonable Budget: Amount requested aligns with project; Projects must be scalable. Overall Quality: Assessment of project (not an average) Terrorism Nexus: Must have a terrorism prevention component

FY 18 – The Region received $1.7 million; anticipating similar amount for FY 19 funding Reallocations to be done in December
