Ramon, Marina and Dale were all hazed. They were humiliated and in some cases were put into dangerous or illegal situations in order to become a member of a group. Mark wasn’t hazed. He was not humiliated and he was safe. He felt good about participating in the rock-climbing activity.
Laws were broken when Ramon’s team made a freshman drink beer. If Marina and her friend had been hurt as a result of being left outside of town, there could have been legal consequences.
