Practice writing spelling words and dictation sentences. Tell a family member what these vocabulary terms mean: *habitat- the place where an animal lives structure- something that is built from parts that are put together in a certain way design– a plan for how something should be made or put together Wednesday: Read a book with a family member and record on reading log. Help your child prepare for the spelling test. Read each word aloud in random order as your child writes each word one at a time. Together, check/correct the practice test. Have your child practice writing any misspelled words again. Identify high-frequency words Tell a family member what the following vocabulary terms mean from our theme: habitat, structure, and design.
