David Gauntlett believes that the age of web 2.0 (interactive internet) represents a cultural shift from a “sit back and be told” culture to a “making and doing” culture.
Gauntlett says that the internet is leading to an increase in “everyday creativity” as more and more people make things and publish them online.
Charles Leadbeater says we are in an age of “mass innovation and creativity”
A Level media has certainly become much more of a “making and doing” course.
