If yes: What is your issue? What argument do you think you’ll make? If no: What options are you considering? What progress have you made on your assignment so far? How do you feel about what you’ve done?

4 Workshop: Q1 What is an issue that you see in the world?
What scale is the issue (e.g. Campus, national, international)? What do you know about the issue?

5 Workshop: Q2 Who do you think are key players or organizations that are talking about your issue? That can do, or are doing, something about it? Essentially: who is a change maker? What do you want them to do?

6 Workshop: Q3 Who/what is a specific audience that you would like to create more awareness of your issue? What do you want them to know?

7 Workshop: Q4 [Person #1] Outline what you know about your issue.
What are questions that you have about it? What do you wish you knew more about? [Person #2] Respond to your partner’s thoughts, offer up suggestions for keywords, questions, and places to research.

8 Workshop: Q5 [Person #2] Outline what you know about your issue.
What are questions that you have about it? What do you wish you knew more about? [Person #1] Respond to your partner’s thoughts, offer up suggestions for keywords, questions, and places to research.

What decisions have you started to make? What are specific goals that you have to make progress on your assignment between now and Monday, when we peer review? What are specific, actionable steps you can take to get there?

10 Freewrite Review your partners notes to you. What stands out to you?
What did you learn about your focus, interests, etc.? What specific, actionable steps, do you plan to take to make progress on your assignment? What needs to be done between now and Monday for Peer Review?
