Effective Leadership:
Adopt a policy that defines BOTH standards and process for selecting practices.

Is focused on core educational goal
Is defined with replicable precision
Comes with a clear professional development plan
Includes a formal “fidelity” measure
Has peer reviewed research supporting effectiveness
Is demonstrated to work in local schools
