Partnership Team Work 3 Colleges 6 School Boards MTCU Kerri provides narrative BACKGROUND Team understands clear eligibility criteria; colleges provide October Open Houses; guidance counsellor understand differences between OYAP 1 Dual Credit/ Dual Credits Understanding the skills, knowledge and habit of mind (ways of thinking, attitudes, dispositions) candidates will require for success (i.e. reference the Electrical Code Book) Understanding the priorities and differences between program delivery at each college and board (i.e. supplementals; timing of program delivery) Understanding what will prepare students for the readiness of a demanding program (i.e. the workbook project) Surfacing the issues: the data, make-up labs and re-writes, student success strategies 3. Ongoing CGTAT sub-committee meetings: Key Strategies: Program Timing: Humber moves Level 1 to end of semester, similar to Sheridan (GBC starts earlier still) 2. Resourcing Students Earlier with the CODE Book 3. Creating an Electrical assignment to be completed on the Co-op placement
