April 28-30, 2017: VT in NJ April 28: Afternoon/Evening rehearsal: 3-7 PM April 29: All day rehearsal: 10 AM-5 PM April 29: BEATLES EXCHANGE 7 PM April 30: Optional Broadway show trip: 2 PM May 19-21, 2017: NJ in VT May 19: All day rehearsal (Depart CG at 6:00 AM) May 19: BEATLES EXCHANGE 7 PM May 20-21: Great Escape Indoor Water Park and Great Escape Six Flags May 21: Departure for home 2 PM

5. ITINERARY Friday May 19-Sunday 21, 2017 NJ to VT Trip Total Price: $375 Sunday April 30, 2017 Charter bus Round Trip transportation: $25 Broadway Show: $100 VT to NJ Trip Total Price: $125 Both trips: $500 *Minimum of 10 rooms is required. **$2,000 deposit due upon booking

6. Notes for Board of Education
Students will use Music Matters fundraising activities to finance their trip(s)
The CGHS Music Department is requesting permission for students involved to be allowed to attend the trip to Bennington, VT on Friday May 19 - Sunday May 21, 2017
Students will only miss one day of school.
Total amount of students interested: approximately music & drama students
Students may choose not to attend the trip but will still perform on April 29, 2017
Students may choose one trip or both trips

7. Exchange Concert CRITERIA
Concert Choir, Band and Orchestra:
Required to practice music at rehearsal
Required to practice music outside of rehearsal
Required to attend sectionals to work as a full ensemble
Music teachers, Mr. Savino and Mrs. Jessen-Foose will monitor the progress of each student through performance assessments based on national music standards rubric
