News From Room 225:
Weekly homework will continue this week. Your child will be given a math page on Monday and it is to be completed and turned in by Friday morning. This will be a homework grade.
Students are encouraged to read 20 minutes each night.
You will find our bi-weekly Wordly Wise vocabulary terms attached to this page. Although we review them in class, please use these to study with your child at home.

This week in Science, we will continue
Chapter 3: Living Things and Their
Environments. Our focus will be on Lesson 2.
*We will be completing several activities
that will assist your child on our weekly Friday
quiz. Our packet will be sent home Thursday.

Math
This week, we will begin Chapter 11: Perimeter & Area. Please continue studying ALL multiplication facts 0-12 at home. Multiplication will continue to be used throughout the school year. We will have a quick quiz over our 5 & 6 facts.
