4 PIHRA IV Stipend PIHRA Inland Valley is proud to offer two stipends to the California HR Conference for one professional and one student. (APPLY HERE) Requirements: Be an enrolled student Be a member in good standing with the PIHRA student chapter. (with current student membership) Be a member in good standing with PIhra Central (with current student membership). Submit a paragraph on what you plan to accomplish with the learnings from the conference. Certify commitment to attend a full day of the conference and accept all other costs necessary for such attendance (this includes parking, meals, etc.) Submit a fully and accurately completed application form no later than May 31, 2019 4

11 Internship Opportunity
Conference Coordinator - Temporary The employment length extends from June 2019 through the end of August 2019 (with a possibility to extend one additional week into September 2019). Approximately hours per week during the hours of 8:30 am -3 pm, Monday-Thursday. Longer hours may be necessary closer to conference dates. Overnight stay in Long Beach, CA may be required. The main focus of the job will be to support the Programs Department with the annual California HR Conference Supporting all pre-event planning activities including but not limited to: speaker management: contacting all speakers to ensure timelines are met volunteer coordination: assisting with the training and onsite schedule administrative logistics: answering questions that attendees, volunteers, and speakers may have in regard to their responsibilities assisting the programs coordinator with pre-event registrations on-site coordination: supporting onsite logistics as needed Send resume and cover letter to
