What does this mean in schools?
Education is KEY Being in poverty is rarely about a lack of ability Remain in poverty because they do not know they can get out Schools are places where students can learn the choices and rules of the middle class

Implications for Teaching and Learning
Understand differences in our worlds Provide consistency We are role models Teach them they have choices
