What we already knew… We should share with everyone. Listen to other people. Be kind to friends.

Everybody has things they have the same and different. Unity means working together despite differences. We are all individual and unique.

7 What we already knew… Some of us weren’t sure why we vote.
So we know which people do which job. Some of us weren’t sure why we vote. To pick what we want to do or like. Why do we vote?

9 By the end of the day we found out…
Because everybody has their own opinion. We vote for the prime minister. You vote to get a choice and a better life.

11 What we already knew… That all humans have rights.
Some differences between a want and a right. That all humans have rights. Human rights don’t mean you can do whatever you want. What does individual liberty mean?

How people can have their individual liberty taken away. The responsibilities that come with our rights. We have 54 rights as children in Britain.

15 What we already knew… To keep people from doing the wrong thing.
So people are happy and safe. To keep people from doing the wrong thing. Everyone would do what they want. Why do we need laws and rules?

We learnt the difference between civil and criminal law. Rules don’t stop us having fun, they are so we do the right thing. We need laws to make the world a better place and stop people doing the wrong thing.
