This presentation is designed to help you understand why missions is important in Christian education, and what are the basics.

3. Why bother with Missions?
See the School’s Policy statement –
“The purpose of regularly providing missions opportunities for students, staff and parents within Australia and overseas is to encourage each community member to use whatever gift(s) God has given to him/her, in order to serve others faithfully, in God’s grace.”

Firstly, be hungry to bring teaching from God’s Word at each moment of the event.
Secondly, be open to the Holy Spirit in your teaching and speech.

Know your team well to keep them safe;
Recognise and accept each one as created for God’s purpose;

Warning! If you get this wrong the result is:
Cynicism instead of transformation;
Regression instead of renewal;
Selfishness instead of commitment;
