The week of December 9th is Grace Hoppers birthday.
2013 Hour of Code was geared towards MS and HS students.
Hour of Code has grown and has resources supporting all grade levels.

Start with a icon based code, and if possible with a robot or something you can test the code in an engaging way like ozobots.
Move to a language that does not have to have anything special like Javascript or Ruby Rails to test and implement
