Look at your set of cards describe what you see. (Please write at least 1 full sentence for each question.) How many cards are there? What Media’s (materials) were used? How many different media (materials) did the artist use on each card? What Elements and Principles do you see? ELEMENTS: Line, Color, Shape, Form, Texture, Value, Space. PRINCIPLES: Repetition and Movement, Balance, Depth/Proportion, Emphasis/Focus, Harmony/Unity, Contrast and Variety.

The Learning Target for this project was, “Use multiple techniques to create a set of Artist Trading Cards that demonstrate the Principles of Harmony and Unity through the Repetition of an Element.” Please explain how you achieved the Learning Target. Be sure to use the Elements & Principles in your explanation. Your response should be between 5-8 sentences.

First, read the responses of the classmate who critiqued your work. Read your peer’s comments and think about them carefully. After thinking about their comments, answer the following questions. 1. Overall do you think your final product is successful? Why or why not? 2. If you could change something about your cards to make them even more successful what would it be? 3. Why would this improve the overall quality of your cards?
