2. Jas 4:7 Submit therefore to God
Jas 4:7  Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
SUBMIT: Lit. "to line up under." RESIST: Lit. "take your stand against." Result. He will flee… Now here’s my question… ”Do we believe that or not?

3. Result: He will draw near to you!
Jas 4:8  Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
DRAW NEAR TO GOD:
Result: He will draw near to you!
CLEANSE YOUR HANDS,
PURIFY YOUR HEARTS!

4. Jas 4:9  Be miserable and mourn and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom.
What is being addressed here the mocking , flippant attitude about the things of God in the face of God of those who pursue the things of the world. Let the Joy of your sin be turned to sorrow. Jas 4:10 Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you. Humbly SUBMIT , Humbly STAND In His Strength, Humbly DRAW NEAR to God,
