A ratio of adenoma to adjacent normal mucosa thickness of <2.0 or an absolute AT measurement of <1.3 mm indicates a flat adenoma. (C and D) A typical but nonspecific feature present is radiation of adenomatous epithelium superficial to nonadenomatous crypts.
