5 *New Boston is not required to submit a LTCP.

6 Long Term Control Plan (LCTP) Status
Pennsylvania RAJSA has had some delays in its LTCP implementation. DEP believes they have worked through those (not finalized) and expect the LTCP Task implementation to begin again soon. ALCOSAN has developed their LTCP/Wet Weather Plan (WWP). Agencies have reviewed it and require re-negotiation on some provisions of the existing Consent Decree (CD). Coraopolis Borough submitted a revised LTCP. The revised LTCP submittal is slated for Department review. West Virginia Benwood, Wheeling, McMechen, and Kenova have not had their LTCPs approved yet.

7 Long Term Control Plan (LCTP) Status
Ohio New Boston Facility will not be required to submit a LTCP. They are working towards elimination of their two CSOs.  Indiana Evansville has had their LTCP approved by the State. Kentucky    Owensboro has submitted a LTCP for approval. Ashland has had their LTCP approved by the State. Illinois Cairo has submitted a LTCP EZ Form. They are required to submit yearly reports showing efforts to secure grant funding to build a new effluent pump station and renovate the 10th Street Pump Station. This will provide a reduction of overflow events and volumes.

8 State Updates ALCOSAN is proposing to eliminate twelve (12) CSO outfall structures from their permit. Pennsylvania Agencies are attempting to incorporate more GI proposals within ALCOSANs WWP and outline them within the re-negotiated federal Consent Decree (CD). EPA plans to allow the City of Pittsburgh/PWSA to evaluate and develop a flow reduction proposal. EPA will be taking the lead on that Enforcement Order. Rochester, Middleport and Tell City have eliminated some CSOs.

9 Annual CSO Performance Data
ORSANCO staff has been working with Region 5 to retrieve CSO data for electronically through EPAs Integrated Compliance Information System (ICIS) database. This database will make gathering data easier in the future. The Communities are making progress by submitting performance data through electronic Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMR) as shown in the table below. Annual Performance data was only available for 21 of the 49 CSO Communities on the Ohio River.

10 State Summary of CSO Performance Data
This is a four year snapshot of the data and it is highly variable due to precipitation and lack of data from year to year. ORSANCO will continue to retrieve annual CSO performance data electronically and present the results to the Technical Committee.
