Use this knowledge as you begin your research

3. The Struggle is Real This is not going to be easy
You will not find everything you need in your first few attempts
You will need to work at school and at home
You will need to problem solve, be creative, think outside the box, and ask questions
Refer to your green packet
Use the PCMS Databases
If you have chosen a strong topic and completed your due diligence you will have no problem

4. Don’t forget your objective
Remember we are interpreting…..nothing is going to be black and white. If it is, then it is not an issue that needs Judicial Review
Foreign Born President (black and white) = states in Article II that you must be born in US = no interpretation needed
vs.
Stand Your Ground Law (must be interpreted) = does not say anything in the Constitution so if this law is challenged it is up to the Supreme Court to interpret it. Does the 2nd amendment guarantee the right to stand your ground in self-defense?

5. Requirements Minimum 4 credible sources
At least one reference & citation to a Supreme Court Case (judicial review)
All sources included in a Works Consulted following MLA format
Students are expected to be using PMCS approved Databases
