8 Interesting facts about tea
Did you know that lemon tea in the UK is called Russian? The tradition to add a slice of lemon, and really, was born in Russia. The lacquer- pumped guests from the road were offered tea with sourness to bring it to life. The English aristocrats were so carried away with tea drinking that they stopped drinking alcohol The most expensive afternoon tea in Britain was in a hotel in Berkshire. The price of tea and treats for two was 550 pounds.

9 CONCLUSION I found that the first who tasted tea in England was Karl II. In 1664, one of the Indian companies presented him with dry tea tree leaves. But, other sources say that the first to buy tea raw materials was Thomas Garaway in 1569, who owned a coffee shop on the outskirts of London. By 1750 tea had become the principal drink of all the classes in Britain. Later, tea-drinking developed into a fashionable social ritual. In the UK, tea is supposed to drink 6 times. Afternoon tea is is the most popular. So tea drinking is popular with the English nowadays.
