2. Malachi 4:5-6 
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. 
And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse. 

3. And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come.
Matthew 11:14-15 
And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come. 
He who has ears to hear, let him hear! 
Luke 1:17  And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just;
to make ready a people
prepared for the Lord.

5. 1Kings 17:23-24 
And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his mother: and Elijah said, See, thy son liveth. 
And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in thy mouth is truth. 

6. 1Kings 18:20-21 
So Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together unto Mt Carmel.
And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him…
Tuesday

7. 8. Wednesday
John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. Mark 1:4 

9. The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.  John 1:29

Thursday
Our message must be as direct as was the message of John. He rebuked kings for their iniquity. Notwithstanding that his life was imperiled, he did not hesitate to declare God's word. And our work in this age must be done as faithfully. CC 272.
