2. Defend your criminal
You just made a Wanted Poster for one of the characters and accused them of a crime. Now, you must defend them. Instead of finding evidence that makes them guilty, you must first make a short list of 2-3 sentences (evidence) from the book that could prove they’re innocent.
Evidence could be a part of the story that points to someone else being guilty.
Next, take your new evidence and write a persuasive paragraph explaining how that character is innocent of all charges. Remember, a good paragraph has an opening sentence to introduce your topic/reason for writing and a closer to sum up your writing.
