5 Projectile motion A projectile is any object that is “launched.”
Its motion can be straight up/down; Or it can be horizontal at a height; Or it can be upwards at an angle; Whichever case, the key idea is the same: the horizontal and vertical motions are INDEPENDENT of each other.
