Course list 9th grade: introduction to the teaching profession
10th grade: human growth and development 11th grade: foundations of curriculum and instruction 12th grade: principles of teaching internship Only 1 class required per year, leaving room in the schedule for additional electives and activities

Stem/steam stem = science, technology, engineering, math steam = science, technology, engineering, arts, math embraces teaching skills and subjects in a way that resembles real life Key component is the Integration of skills and activities Equips students with knowledge and skills to solve tough problems, gather and evaluate evidence, and make sense of information. lessons are well-rounded, project and inquiry-based, with a focus on interdisciplinary learning. multiple skills are used simultaneously. incorporates creative thinking and applied arts, including new ways of solving problems, integrating ideas and concepts, and presenting information embraces the 4 C’s identified as key in 21st Century education: Creativity, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Communication. incorporatE inquiry-based principles and an adaptable framework to suit students of various needs.
