3 Ponds The retention (wet)pond permanently holds a pool of water.
The detention (dry) pond is usually dry. Retention and detention ponds will take stormwater runoff to prevent flooding, contain the surge, releases it slowly to surrounding water sources, and helps prevent downstream erosion.

Zone AE - An area inundated by 1% annual chance flooding, for which BFEs have been determined. A: Zone AE are areas that have a 1% probability of flooding every year (also known as the "100-year floodplain"), and where predicted flood water elevations above mean sea level have been established. Properties in Zone AE are considered to be at high risk of flooding under the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). Site 2 Site 3 Site 4
