Registering New Patients: All research participants enrolled in an applicable clinical research study conducted at UTHealth must have a medical record number (MRN) in GE Centricity/AllScripts.
STEP TWO: RESEARCH REGISTRATION (“RESEARCH FLAG”)
Flagging the patient as a “Research Participant” in GE will automatically interface to ALLSCRIPTS
All Clinicians will know patient is participating in a research study
Biller/Coders will use additional caution entering charges
