1. CUB SCOUT PACK 882 FATHER & SON CAKE BAKE “The Deep Blue Sea”

6:40pm – 8:10pm
The 2016 Cub Scout Cake Bake competition is an exciting event showcasing the creative culinary talents of our Scouts and their Fathers (or Uncle, Grandfather, Guardian, Older Brother, etc.). Everybody who participates is already a winner and will receive a patch for their red vest. The competition will culminate in the judging of all cakes by a panel of local community special guests who will select a prized cake for each of five special categories listed below. These overall winners will receive a trophy!
RULES:
Cakes must be checked in between 6:40pm and 7:00pm. NO CAKES CAN BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE PACK MEETING STARTS!
Cakes must be baked by a Pack 882 Cub Scout with an adult male (dad, uncle, grandfather, older brother, neighbor, etc.).
Families with more than one Scout in the Pack can enter a family creation or a cake for each boy. It’s all up to you!
The entire creation must be edible. This includes all decorations or support infrastructure. No Action Figure Toys!
NO female assistance of any kind is allowed.
All cakes should have a title or name, to be shown as part of the decoration, or on a card attached to the cake. DO NOT put your name on the title. Cakes will be numbered for judging purposes.
Each cake will be brought home by the Scout/Father creator. It will not be eaten at the pack meeting.
Deep Blue Sea
Sea and Ocean are very important to our planet Earth and humankind. They flow over nearly 75% of our planet and hold 97% of the planet’s water. We must learn how to respect and appreciate it. There are also many creatures living in the water. What is your Favorite?
