4 When a teacher wants to check for understanding, they simply ask students to check in Before you move onto the next activity, I want you to check in on Geddit

5 How students make a check-in Teachers usually ask students to check-in around 5 times throughout a lesson (eg. once as an exit ticket!)

8 Sign up as a student Open an internet browser and go to: LetsGeddit.com Create a student account with your email address, you can make up a student name. Step One

11 Display a running lesson that you have prepared and show the class code so that participants can join as students (you can also add the code ahead of time to their handout. Note: teachers can sign up with fake emails/usernames OR their real email, it will not create a clash later!) Ask participants to follow instructions on handout: join class and make a check-in Once they are in and have made a few demo check-ins, switch back to the PPT to show bar meanings Note to presenter:
