2. General information
This is a love song written by the alternative-rock group Imagine dragons published on 21 February 2018 as the only extract from the digital re-release of the third studio album Evolve .The only unpublished track in the re-edition of Evolve, the song, sees the vocal participation of the young singer Grace VanderWaal, who will also support the Imagine Dragons during the following summer tour in the promotion of Evolve.

3. Theme
This song tells about a complicated relationship between a man and a woman,and it points out the extreme loyalty of the woman that stays next to her man even if he's not the perfect boyfriend. Some important verses of this song are:"But still you, still you want me" and "But still I find you there next to me ".These 2 verses are a sort of "keywords" to let the listener know what this song tells about.It's a sort of "story" told by a man that underlines how bad was he in the relationship and how his girlfriend always stood next to him and how she accepted  every negative  things he has done while they were together.

4. Semantic analysis
This song uses "strong" words to point out all the negative and positive aspects of a relationship, like " lookin’ at the mess I am" or "There’s something about the way that you always see the pretty view overlook the blooded mess, always lookin’ effortless". The language is pretty simple to know,anyway it presents some abbreviations like "screamin " or "hollerin' ".

5. Music Analysis
This song presents a discontinous pattern of rhymes,sometimes it is "aabb", sometimes "abab" and sometimes there aren't any rhymes. The rythm is divided in 2 "parts": the strong one,consisting of strong drums hits,and the "calm" part consisting of a relaxing guitar theme, as a way to distinguish the pessimist man and the optimist woman.

For us,this is a very strong song that conveys a lot of emotions,from the rage to the happiness. There are 2 lines of emotions in this song: the bad ones about the man and the good ones about the woman.

7. Message it conveys
For us there is an important message that this song conveys: the importance of a strong woman in a relationship. Probably a lot of  men couldn't have a substancial relationship without a strong woman that stays next to them,that always sees the pretty view and that can always love them anyway and in spite of everything.
