CHALLENGES: Make a food chain at least 5 links long. Make the longest food chain in the class. RULES: Work as a team. Select a card from your deck. Carefully read clue cards and build a food chain based on information you gather from the cards! Without reusing cards, continue to build as many food chains as you can. TEAM JOBS: A – Time Keeper – Your team has 10 minutes! B – Rule Follower – Be sure your team follows all rules and stays on task. C – Writer – Circle food chain connections. D – Card Boss – Keep track of cards for team.

TYPES OF CONSUMERS Consumers of plants. HERBIVORE (prefix “herb” means plant) Consumers of plants and animals. OMNIVORE (prefix “omni” means all) Consumers of animals. CARNIVORE (prefix “carni” means flesh)
