We need strength to change the things in life that need changing
Weakness keeps us from changing
It’s easier just to maintain the status quo

3. Evangelism (Acts 8:4)
Opinions (Rom. 14)
Abounding (1 Thess. 4:1, 10)
Growth (2 Pet. 1:5, 8)
Repentance (Rev. 2-3)

4. Resolve to never change
We need resolve to never change the unchangeable
Cowardice keeps us from holding on
It’s easier just to give into the pressures of the “change-agents” around us

5. The narrow way (Mt. 7:13-14)

The 7 “ones” (Eph. 4:4-6)
The traditions (2 Thess. 2:15)

7. Wisdom to know the difference
We need wisdom to know the difference
Some will not change what needs to be changed and some will change what does not need to be changed

8. Wisdom to know the difference
Some will take their opinions and turn them into “law” and others will take the law of God and turn it into opinions
Some will bind where God has loosed and some will loose where God has bound

10. Dear Lord, please give me the strength to change the things that I ought to change; the resolve never to change the things that ought not be changed; and, the wisdom to know the difference. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen.
