Complete numerical patterns Write rules from function boxes Solve algebraic equations Complete geometric patterns Describe all types of transformations Show all your work and prove your answers Follow directions

4 Number Patterns Review
If the numbers are increasing, the pattern is using addition or multiplication If the numbers are decreasing , the pattern is using subtraction or division In 6th grade, many patterns use more than one step Always try to write your “rule” of the pattern in algebraic form

5 R U ready 2 face the judges?

6 Use a hundreds board to find-
Numbers with a 4 in them Numbers that are multiples of 3 Numbers with a 7 in them Numbers that are multiples of 5 Numbers with a 0 in them Numbers that are divisible by 6 Numbers with a 5 in the tens place Numbers that are multiples of 4 Numbers having both digits the same Numbers that are both multiples of 2 and 3 Numbers that are divisible by 8 Numbers whose digits add to 9 (example: 63)

7 Decisions….Decisions….Decisions
Today is my 55th birthday. I have decided to give away some of my money each year to my relatives. You may choose one of the following options: Option 1: $100 dollars now, $90 next year, then $80 the year after, and so on. Option 2: $10 dollars now, $20 next year, then $30 the year after, and so on. Option 3: $1 now, $2 next year, $4 the year after and so on doubling each year. You will only receive money until I retire. Write to me soon and tell me how you want your money. With Love, Uncle Taylor
