English physicist and mathematician Sir Isaac Newton, most famous for his law of gravitation, was instrumental in the scientific revolution of the 17th century.

5. What is he famous for?
Newton discovered three laws that shaped physics and the way scientists viewed the world.

6. Create a 3-panel flip chart:
Select a piece of construction paperpaper, and fold in half from top to bottom.
Fold the paper into thirds from side to side. Unfold to see three sections.
From the top to the half-way fold, cut along the vertical fold lines. You will now have 3 flaps. Refold in half.

7. Newton’s Laws: (Text p.158-165)
Read chpt. 6, Sect. 2 on Newtons’ Laws.
For each flap of your foldable, add a title and draw an image to help you remember.
Under the flap, write the law.
Repeat for 3 laws.
